Our reach extends to City South, Pyrmont, Ultimo, Chippendale, Redfern, Surry Hills and much further beyond.

The early years 1982-1988

Founded by the directors, Caroline and Kenneth Ng in January 1982, Ray White City South began life trading as Kenneth Real Estate Pty Ltd.

The business commenced from offices in Castlereagh Street, and by December of the same year had grown sufficiently to relocate to the second floor office suite of 758 George Street.

Selected for the Ray White franchise

Over the years, we grew to occupy the whole building in George Street. Today with a staff totally over 20, covering Sales and Marketing, Residential Property Management and Commercial Property Management.

By 1989 the success of Kenneth Real Estate attracted the interest of some of the top Australian Real Estate Franchise groups, and in September 1989 we joined Ray White and began trading under the name of Ray White City South.

A dedicated team

The commitment of dedicated staff has always been a major contributing factor towards the success of the agency.

Pyrmont

Due to our overwhelming need to expand our service in the Pyrmont/Ultimo area, in Spring 2001 we were offered the Ray White franchise for the Pyrmont area and an office was opened there on 1 December 2001.

In May 2004, our City South office moved from the 3-storey building in 758 George Street to occupy a more spacious and modern office on Level 1, 770 George Street. With extra space and improved facilities at the new location, our Pyrmont office is now reintegrated with City South. A shopfront is maintained at the corner of George and Barlow Streets.

The Ray White Organisation

Ray White City South is a major force in the Ray White organisation. The Ray White Group now has more than 800 offices throughout Australia and New Zealand. There are also offices in Singapore and Jakarta.

This outstanding growth testifies to the level of acceptance, confidence and respect for the Ray White name in the market place today.
